another somewhat short chapter, but it looks like rory is looking for a new place to call home.

Wellthat just failed miserably I was hoping that this story would keep me going for another week or two instead I just read it all in one go.

 

Sounds like someone should write some more stuff, especially since it's summer break

I almost forgot how much Rory hates his mother for abandoning him. Its an interesting look into Rory's psyche that he hates his mother for abandoning him, but doesn't feel the same way about Walter ditching him even earlier in his life. I'd imagine that's because even though he wasn't aware of their connection, Rory did get to see Walter on a semi-regular basis, and he was treated at least somewhat well, which could have been weighed against the rage of being abandoned. Maybe it's just sexism rearing its ugly head too, where Rory instinctively believes that the mother should have been there for her child no matter what, and is willing to give his father a free pass because that feels more natural in our society to allow men to father a child and then run off.

I also like the changes you had in Rory's relationship with Caleb. Perhaps it's because I haven't seen much of Trent in your last chapters, or the fact that they're too alike to really 'get' each other the way Rory thinks they do, but I think Rory-Caleb is going to be a better match in the end. I mean, Rory and Trent ARE similar, which is what makes me quite sure that Trent is just using Rory for sex, and that's how they both like it. That's fine in and of itself, but it's not a relationship, even if they do enjoy doing things other than fucking one another. With Caleb I think there's a greater appreciation for the cute, fluffy parts of a relationship. And I think honestly that now that Rory has a family life that he's actually looking forward to, or at least not hating visibly on at every given opportunity, he has the stability needed to actually try and take on a relationship with someone. That little development in his personality is going to be interesting to see, and especially to see where Kell decides to take it in light of all the other changes to Rory's life.

Something I didn't think of last night, how come Caleb's mother didn't react when they said Rory was showing off a tattoo on his ass? The woman knows more than Rory thinks she does, I think, and I'm willing to bet that's because sweet, adorable Caleb tells his mommy all about his boyfriend who's now living with them. I mean, why else would you let a boy you've never even met live in your house with your teenage son, unless you knew there was some history between them that your son obviously cherishes?

i feel like if i were a dad & i was given that reply, id find it too embarrassing to ask questions or god forbid, walk in the door still & see whats going on. but in addition to that, shes also not going to be the brightest person in the world. shes full of heart; which doesnt leave much for brain.

and keep her degree in clinical nursing out of it lol

So I need someone to confirm this for me. Was Trent the one that Caleb was caught sucking off at school during his freshmen year? If so, will Rory eventually find out? Btw I noticed the story was started in 2009 & they still haven't graduated high school. So I have a odd request. Since you've stretched it out this long could you make their graduation in 2015? I graduate in May 2015 & would love it if the characters graduated then as well. LOL.
