You know, I don't really like Noah right now, his whole reaction to Jaden having a different potential love interest has been unpleasantly obsessive, and that most certainly includes what was said in the backroom. But I do understand it, even if I don't really condone it. The Noah we've seen in the past few chapters, as Jaden pointed out, is not the Noah we started the story with. It's a much darker Noah and that's to be expected after the ordeals he's gone through. What he went through really changes people and very rarely is it for the better. Having said that, accusing Jaden of cheating was completely beyond the pale, it was the sort of comment a truly jilted lover says just to cause harm, no one even has to really believe it, it's just a weapon. And I'd do what he did every damn time, we're human and fallible and we do really stupid things when we're in that much emotional pain.
Good of you to cover the whole emotional context behind everything. I have my suspicions about where it goes from here, just based on what's been happening and how much I know you, but I'll keep those to myself.

the way i see it is that yes something bad affected noah. but at this point, he's more than consciously aware of what he's doing. so even if he hasnt actually used that as an excuse, its losing that same edge. in other words, what happened certainly changed him, but he cant keep using that as an excuse. and jade points that out when he says he knows something horrible happened, BUT...

i supose it can yeah. but at the same time, as honest or subconscious it may have been for him to say that, jade could still see that as not being fair
