It started about a year ago...ya know the usual story of how some kid tells his friends he's gay. All of them are happy that he had the balls to tell them. And they live happily ever after.....wrong......ya all of that happened but somebody opened their big mouth and then it started drifting around like a bad dream.

Until finally it reaches the ears of the homophobic group...who somehow... I dont know how....but they rallied about one-fifth of the school to 'punish' me for being me. My friends also got hurt in the process and slowly drifted away.

And my parents well...my mom accepted me for who I am.....my dad he got used to the idea but he seems farther away nowadays. Anyways the bullying got worse and worse until it suddenly stopped after Spring Break.

Everything started going back to normal, though i still get the usual 'F' word thrown at me. Oops i totally neglected the info...anyways my name is Felix Mauer, I live in Great Falls, MT. I'm pretty good looking but i don't want to brag, so I have pretty average looks im about 5'7" and have brown eyes, with a simple mop of black shaggy hair. So you've heard my story so how 'bout we hop back to the present.

-alarm blaring- "Ugh just five more minutes.........wait it's the first day of school!" -jumps up- "F*** I'm going to be late!!"

About half an hour later of running around like somebody cut off my head and i finally get to school with twenty minutes to spare. Enough time to chat with my friends before the first year of 'prison' starts."Hey guys whats up?" I slowly look at the group hmmm theres Dillian, Jessica, Jacob, Zachary, and wait who's that. "Hey who's that?" I say pointing at the stranger, he's like 6 feet or so tall and i must say pretty cute. Dillian looks up from his schedule "Oh ya, guess who he is.....it's Pete."

My jaw literally drops, Pete's the little nerd in our group he was about 5 feet tall before the summer and usually wore glasses, the typical nerd."You're shittin me!" Pete eventually pipes in "Ya it's me.....grew about 1 foot over the summer and im using contacts now." He says with that stupid grin on his face. I seriously could not believe it, before i could say anything Chelsea walked over and asked how our summers were. We all said it at the same time "Good!" can you spell creepy. She smiles and moves onto the next group of kids. All of us keep talking until the first bell rings....hmmm whats my first class.....gym eh.

Five minutes later and I walk into the locker room seems like most of the students are in the gym right now...might as well get my gym clothes on. As I walk up to my locker, I'm immediately slammed into it."Hey FAG how was your summer, have a good time, cause I'm making it my personal job to make your life a miserable one!" I can barely hear him since i was concentrating on how i was going to get out of his hold....out of the corner of my eye i see this guy watching the both of us. He looks Australian bout my height and beautiful blue eyes.

But before i can look at him anymore my unknown bully shoves me harder into the locker,"So you going to pull any gay moves on me and my friends or are you going to stay away?" I slowly mutter "Stay away from you." Before i can get out of his grip he punches me in the head. By the time I came to he had gotten away but the Australian had come over and checked on me and asked "You ok?" "Yes" He helps me up "Thanks...did you see who he was?" "No I'm new here so I don't really know anybody....anyways my name's Cameron." I extend my hand "Nice to meet you Cameron....my name's Felix." We both look into each others eyes and for some reason i felt like something clicked. We stare into each others eyes for a two minutes till somebody chimes in saying "Get a room you two." Cameron blushes and then just gives this 'eh whatever' look and says "So how bout we get dressed and meet up in the gym."

I smile and go back to opening my locker. A few minutes of sitting around for roll call and and a half a hour of lecturing from our teacher and she sends us on back to locker room. I was bummed out to find that Gym and Art were the only classes I had with Cameron. Eventually going home with my imagination running wild. Wondering who shoved me into the locker and if Cameron liked me or not. Either way I wasn't getting my answers until tommorrow. Which to a teenager is forever.

Felix and Cameron Chpt 2.

So its been a few weeks since either me or Cameron talked to each other, its kinda of bumming me out. The only time we really spoke was when I passed him in the hall. Oh here he comes, gotta go. "Hey Cameron whats up?" I say smiling at him. "Felix, I'm sorry I've been dodging you all week, It's just, can I tell you something personal?" ,"Ugh ya ok." Hmmmmm I wonder what he's going to say -grins- "Ok dude the whole reason why I isolate myself and new here. Is because I was outed at my old school for being gay." OMG heheh no suprise there, I already knew," Ya I thought you were going to say that

"Oh, well i guess you don't want to be friends anymore." Talk about a eye roller, eh what the hell I'm just going to kiss him in public anyways."Here's my answer." In only a few seconds I took his lips in mine and, he was suprised at first then just closed his eyes and really started kissing back. Wow either he was a natural, or has done this alot, or both; either way i was really enjoying this.

It felt like forever in our own little world until i decided to stop and give him a break, when i looked at him he had this look of bewilderment "What? He just looks into blank space and says"Wow, that just.......felt right." "Ya same here.....I guess this means you like me?" "You couldn't tell when we were in the locker room." "I had my hunch." "So, what's going to happen between us? I mean, does this make us boyfriends or something?" he asked me. Yeah, like I knew the answer.
I smile "I would like that very much."

A Month Later
So me and Cameron have been going out for about a month now and we've had our fights but we're still a couple and so far...... "Felix whatcha writing in that journal of yours?" I smile at him and say "Oh about you!" He grins "What about me?" "Oh nothing much..." His grin keeps getting bigger "I guess I'll just have to find out...maybe with some fun!" Cameron pounces on me and immediately starts giving me a hicky, and slowly moved on to french kissing me. God that feels good, I felt my jeans being unzipped & unbuttoned. Eventually I was in my birthday suit, we immediately went back to making out. Dangit he stopped again to take off his clothes.....

Well here's the re-done Chapter 2

It's been a few weeks since either me or Cameron talked to each other, its kinda of bumming me out. The only time we really spoke was when I passed him in the hall. Oh here he comes, gotta go. He just looks at me for a bit, looks like he's either trying to study me or is constipated hahah."So I take it Cameron that you already know I'm gay as well." "Ya I heard a few things from some guys but I didn't believe them.....Is it true that they found you in the locker room with two guys doing it?" "HELL NO!!!" I take a moment to pause everything and see that he looks a little hurt from my little burst of anger. Oh it feels criminal to hurt somebody that cute. "......I'm sorry for yellin at ya."

He still looked a little hurt, hmmmm there's only one way to change his mood.I look around a bit to check if anybody's outside, ya know so we're not seen smacking lips,"Fine, how about this!?" He looks up only to has his lips covered by mine,I keep pushing at his lips with my tongue until he figures out what's going on and opens his mouth.We start swapping saliva and exploring eachother's mouth's. God he's a good kisser. He probably had the same feeling cause when I openend my eyes, because when I did we stared into eachother's eyes.

We kept kissing until I noticed somebody out of the corner of my eye, and we both stop kissing and look at the person who's coming our way.It took me a while to figure who it was until they were close, it's Dillian, he can really ruin a good moment "Hey Dillian what'cha still doing here?" He leans in close "My bus downtown hasn't arrived yet and I looked over here and saw you two. But is it just me or were guys kissing a moment ago?" He leans closer, and Cameron backs up saying "I was just telling him a secret!" Dillian keeps getting closer until I blurt out, "Don't you have a bus to catch?"

He looks at his watch "Shit Shit Shit!!" We both laugh as Dillian runs across the parking lot like somebody had cut off his head."Felix thanks for covering me there." I stop laughing"Eh, it was nothing, but we can trust Dillian. So you don't have to lie when he asks something like that! Well anyways I have to get home, so I'll be seeing you around." I walk off already knowing whats going to happen in a few seconds, Cameron runs up behind me and takes my hand asking"Felix would you like to be my boyfriend?" It's like he was eating out of the palm of my hand, I chuckle a bit and say "Ok that would be cool, why don't you call me tonight, here's my number!" I hand him a piece of paper with my number scribbled on it, he smiles and says, "Ok!" and walks off to his car. Well that went better than I planned, which I didn't.

Well seems everything has a happy ending

And here's chapter 3

I drove up the driveway of my house, that's strange only my sisters car is parked. My parents probably had to go on a short notice buisness trip. I lock my car as I walk in the door of the house, only to see my sister watching a movie with some guy. I swear she gets a new boyfriend every two weeks.

As I walk up to my room I hear her boyfriend is leaving and I here my sis walking towards my room. I throw my stuff on to my bed right when she walks in and I say, "Hey Brook." I turn around as she socks me in the arm,

"Whats up Felix!" God she can throw a good punch"I'll tell you just stay here while I go get a snack!" She grumbles a bit, she was always impatient.

When I came back she was fiddling with her hair, typical Brook. "So do you want to know whats up or do you want to fiddle with your hair?" I chuckle a bit while I stand there, until she says, "Stop chuckling and tell me what you're so happy about!" I walk over and sit down on my bed,

"Well ya know that boy I told you about."

"Ya that hot Austrailian boy with and I qoute 'eyes like the sky'!"I chuckle a bit and say, "Well I kissed him today, and he asked me out!" For a moment I feel like I'm glowing, Brook edges to the front of my desk chair, "What did you say to him?" God she can be retarded at times "Of course I said yes!" She walks up to me, then hugs me"Cool little bro you have a boyfriend now.......but you know dad will never approve, he can barely swallow the idea of having a gay son!" I get out of her iron grip of death and frown saying, "Well when the day comes that he finds out, he'll just have to deal with it, no matter what!" She walks towards the door "Whatever! Anyways I've got to get going, I promised mom I would go to the store!" I nod my head, a few minutes later and my phone rings, probably Cameron, "Hello Felix!" Dangit it's my mom "Yes mom, what do you want!" "Honey your father and I are on a buisness trip to Paris right now, so we will see you and your sister two weeks from now." Score I can have Cameron over, without my parents questioning me, "Ok mom! Bye!" I cut her off before she can say anything else. Now that that is out of the way, better get started on my science project.

My phone rings and I pick it up, it's Cameron.

CHAPTER 1: Who Said Anything About Being Blind?

Today was an extremely stressful day, from the moving to the unpacking, everything was hectic. You're probably wondering what my name is, it's Isaac Griffin. I'm 17 and about 5' 9" and have dirty blonde hair, which hangs around my shoulders. I have crystal blue eyes as well. I'm like most guys my age, except for one difference, I'm gay

" Okay just put it down right there.....Ugh! Why did you have to drop it, there were fragile's in it !?!"

" Sorry mom, both of us are very tired right now. If it's alright with you, I think I'll just head over to see Elijah?

" Same here, I haven't seen Katy for a while."

She smiled and replied, " Sure, you two deserve a break." We were just about to step out the door, before my mom spoiled my good mood.

" I don't want you driving the Mustang, you still need to learn how to drive stick!" I whimpered," But mom, it's a beaut, you can't expect me not to take it for a spin."

" No buts' mister, I don't want to identify you and your sister's bodies at the morgue." That last statement was a little extreme, but I could see where she was coming from. I guess the Explorer would have to do. My sister and I walked out towards the garage, it was a extremely large garage for an extremely large house. It housed three cars and a motorcycle. My eyes focused on my beauty of a car. It was a newly refurnished 69' mustang, with a orange finish.

It was a gift from my parents for my 17th, and although it was expensive. My dad said that the face I made when I saw it was worth it all. I promised him that I would take good care of it, but that promise was short lived. My sister chuckled at the small dent on the front of the Mustang, as we climbed into the Explorer.

" I can see why mom didn't want you driving it." I slowly sank into the drivers seat as she reminded me of the event prior to our move

" Don't remind me!" Right before we moved out of our last home, I had taken the Mustang out for a spin. I didn't know how inexperienced I was with stick shift. And as I brought it out of first gear, the car lurched forward and I rammed into a pair of trashcans. I felt bad for not keeping my promise, despite my father laughing and telling me it was all right.

" Oh come on big bro it wasn't that bad, now get out of that funk and start driving!" I smiled at her brashness as I turned the ignition.As I backed the car out of the driveway I asked Ashlee where she wanted to go.
" The mall of course!"

"Good, I was heading in that direction anyways, if not, I think you could have walked a few miles." For that I earned a playful swat to the arm. For a while we drove without seeing a single speck of civilization. You see, the town we now live in is a fairly decent sized town know as Summerset. It was surrounded by forest on all sides, except for the famous Pennsylvania Turnpike which ran adjacent to the town. For a while we were dead silent before I decided to ask something.

" So, Ashlee, do you still like Katy?" Yes, my sister was lesbian, the story of how I found out her interest in girls is a very long one, and I don't really want to get into it.

" Yeah......I'm not very proud of it, but after 3 years I still have that schoolgirl crush on her."

" Well, I can see why you like her, good looking and a great personality to boot! Although for all we know, she could be the Wicked Witch of the West right now!"

" I doubt in the time that I saw her last, that she went from pretty to pretty wicked. Besides you're gay, you wouldn't know a sexy girl, even if she nailed you in the nuts!" Ooh, the mental picture of being hit in the groin, sent shivers down my spine.

" Just because I'm gay, doesn't mean mean I'm blind." I knew I was in for some verbal punishment when I saw her smile turn into a grin of pure evil.

" It does mean you're blind, as blind as a mouse. I mean look you can't even raise that toothpick you call a dick for a nice pair of tits. Seriously it's kinda of embarrassing." As she finished, my frown turned into a big toothy grin. My turn. I squinted my eyes just enough, so that I could still see and drive. Yet it would like I had closed my eyes for a few winks.

" OH NO ASHLEE! I'M GAY AND BLIND, QUICK TAKE THE WHEEL!" She screeched

" I TAKE IT BACK. ISAAC OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES! SERIOUSLY, BEFORE WE RUN OFF THE ROAD!!" Once again, I had won, when it came to messing with my sister, I always had the last laugh. I couldn't help myself, I started giggling like a little child. Ashlee was still pissed, and when I looked over at her expression, I would start giggling again. Eventually she started smiling and said, " Oh how can anyone be mad at you forever! One of these days your going to make some lucky boy very happy."

" Okay, since we're not there yet pop in some tunes,." She popped in a colorful CD, and the radio relayed back one of my favorite songs. MIKA was one of my favorite bands, and although this particular song was kinda of gay, well actually girly; I still liked it.

As the song winded down, I caught a glimpse of the mall, also know as The Plaza. Although it was a Sunday, and only ten in the morning, the mall was booming with business. Luckily I was able to secure a spot near the entrance much to the dismay of a purple mini-van.

" Okay, call me when you want to head home, and if you can't reach me then you can probably find me and Eli around the Art and Music District."

" Okay, mom!" And like that she was gone in the blink of an eye. I was about to call Elijah, when a pair of arms wrapped around me.

" Isaac, it's so great to see you!"

Great start, Seth. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this story pans out. I like the name, Nathaniel Griffin just sounds so cool - lol I'm so immature.
I think it's a good thing that you've jumped straight in with the action, but there are a few things I think we'd like to know. Are they moving back to this town after an absence, or have they just moved a short distance (I mean, they have friends pretty close by)? Also, how old is Ashlee? Just take care to cover these basics - at the start I was wondering who was speaking because it took me a while to realise there were three characters in the scene!
Your dialogue is great, it reads really naturally, and likewise your narrative style avoids too much awkwardness. Also, you've nicely woven in these elements of familiarity between the characters which make them seem more real, as though the story extends beyond the limits of what you've written down for us. Overall then, keep up the good work, and I hope to see more soon!
