| Since we're posting Drarrys I thought I'd share a few of my favourite authors with you all, at least those of you who care (Ephraim, mostly). http://www.thesilversnitch.net/tss1/viewuser.php?uid=1101http://www.fanfiction.net/u/852780/http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1391952/oldenuf2nobetterhttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/1265079/Lomonaaerenhttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/1039690/ilytrinamarealikewhoahttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/2123905/thelivinggirlhttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/1568636/dracosoftiehttp://www.fanfiction.net/u/1152666/All of these are awesome authors, mostly exclusive HPDM writers, a few with other stories in the HP world, and some with fics of other stories, but all excellent. I hope you enjoy, and if it all looks a little intimidating with loooong stories at first, start with dracosoftie's latest series of drabbles (short short stories, like 100 to 250 words) which all feature the same characters and have a few inside references, but are perfect to read on their own. | |

I have been solely reading Harry/Draco HP fanfics for the past few months... maybe longer! If I got a chance to get at my computer for a little while, I would find a bunch of really good fics and email them to myself and just read them on my phone. I literally did that all day every day when I was stuck in the hospital. In the past few months, I've read ALL the most favorite stories (the ones that I know have a happy ending, because I refuse to read stories that have sad or ambiguous endings) and loads more... I think I've read over 100 hp stories.. maybe over 200...
I'll put together a couple of the absolute best ones and post them.
Alex put up Vorbiza and Anna Fugazi above... those are really good authors. Secrets by Vorbiza and Bond by Anna are the ones I liked the best by them... | |

| I can fully recommend "Broken Mind, Fractured Soul", a massive and brilliant story that starts with Harry having Dissociative Identity Disorder (more commonly known as and referred to in the story as Multiple Personality Disorder) as a consequence of his horrifying abuse at the hands of the Dursleys. It's an epic Drarry, and although it's got some very dark themes and chapters, is a fascinating insight into a little understood mental condition with a magical twist, and follows the events of the books at the time they were written very cleverly to fit in with the schema of the author's plan. If you have time on your hands, or even if you read it over a long period of time, go and join the Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/a_sensibly_tainted_group/ and download the PDFs from the 'files' section, totally worth it. | |

| hmm.... I'm looking over the story now. I have a bad habit (or good habit, depending on your perspective) of making sure the story isn't going to have a sad ending. I've become absolutely pathetic. I can only read stories that I know will end well.. I'm skimming the very last chapter of the sequel and I really can't make heads or tails of it without reading back a bit more. It seems like the kind of story that I would love... very VERY long and quite good. Have you read Eclipse? http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1360492/1/EclipseIt's absolutely amazing! I read it months ago and when I think of what my favorite story is, I get a muddle of 20 different stories melting together.... but this one stands apart. Have you heard of the Maya stories that vanished from the interwebs a while ago? Those are really fantastically written.. it's all encompassed on a 1200 or so page pdf now that i lucked into finding a torrent of. If you want it, let me know. They don't all meet my criteria of stories I could take without crying unendingly, but they are all excellent! | |

| I'm not usually a big fan of AU (Alternate Universe) fanfiction stories, but I thought this one was a beautiful tale, even if the characters don't bear much relation, personality-wise, to JK Rowling's originals. As a love story, it's pretty damn epic, and it's got a fair bit of angst in it too. I haven't investigated the author's other stories, but certainly this one is well worth the read, even if you don't particularly like Harry Potter fanfiction http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2721089/1/Dracos_Boy | |
