We skyped 5 hours a day everyday for 2 weeks before we met. And we still skype for 5 hours a day haha.

So my boyfriend and I just recently broke up, it was a somewhat mutual break up. The break up was mostly influenced by our difference of opinions on the matter of weed. (Quick briefing. He despises weed, and will drop a friend if they try it out. I don't like weed, but I believe people should be allowed to do what they want so long as it doesn't hurt them or anyone around them.). When the matter is brought up between us, its a very long and hard fight between us. We broke up mainly because of a recent two hour fight over our opinions on weed. But just today he texted me, "I don't think we needed to break up." The fight was part of the reason I went along with the break up, but also because its been quite a bumpy ride for the relationship the past few weeks; and also because I've felt my love for him slipping for a bit, it's still there, but it's fading a little. What are your opinions on the matter? Should I get back together with him, even though my love for him is fading?

i think u should stay broken up if u know for sure that ur feelings from him are slipping away. theres no point in continuing something thats bound to fail.

I have to agree with Kell.  If your feelings for him have changed, then you need to give serious consideration to whether your relationship should change too.  Especially if you're starting to fight about things that are differences of opinion; people should be able to disagree and not fight the way you guys did there, and while you both seem to realise it was overblown, it does speak to some kind of problem between you two.

Like Momma bear said, if you're falling out of love with him, then you'll eventually feel like he's just another guy you know.
