Hottest day i ever saw was 118 F in Saudi Arabia. Was pretty miserable. Burnt my ass on the aluminum wing of the aircraft i worked on. Sat down to work not even thinking hey stupid this is hot.

Kell if you like cold weather and being safe from dangerous animals, why stay in New England? Old England has everything you want! The most scary wild creatures in the UK are wasps and the hottest temp. ever recorded in the UK was 38.5°C(101.3°F). My parents just bought a house in Cornwall (South West UK, right by the coast, surf capital of the UK) and I wish it was warm enough all year round for me to just move there and surf every day.

I can remember this happened to me here when I was in upper 4th form, I think. Mind my was blown when i realised the gooey shit that was following me was actually melted tar/ asphalt. I couldn't help but put my finger into it. Cos you just have to put your finger into hot tar to find out how hot it really is lol.
I wish I was in an estate in england next to a beach and my library with me. that'll be heaven for me.

my heaven is living in the cabin we used to own up in winthrop maine on lake annabessacook during the summer but with cool, steady breezes so it doesnt get to hot. low humidity & best of all, no mosquitoes
fyi, for those who dont already know, that cabin is the fictitious home of noah; with the neighbor we had, carol's house next door being jadens house. u can see noah & jadens houses on google maps from the satellite

the hottest i've ever been was several years ago when my dad was at my house & we were up in the attic trying to take off a wooden panel that, for some reason, was nailed to the air vent. it was in the mid 90s (mid 30s i guess to u celcius peeps) that day but being up in an enclosed attic where the air doesnt move, it was even hotter. i had to get a tool at some point from downstairs & so when i went down, i also grabbed a thermometer & when i went back up, it was 112 (~44.4 C)

The hottest temp I ever had to deal with was in Kuwait. It was around 140. Anything after 110 feels the same

ok, i dunno about u guys, but i found this super cool. as my fellow americans know, & as u non-americans out there might or might not know, america has very different dialects depending on what region ur in as well as different sayings for different things. my friend posted this on facebook & i find it fascinating to see which parts of the country say what & how they say it.
that link might be a little funny but it has all 122 examples. just click the scroll-down thingy on the side to see results for each survey. the link below is the preview version which only has 22 examples, in case that first link doesnt work.
for the record, i do NOT say "bubbler" & i have no idea what a "cruller" is. and frankly, i was shocked to know the majority of the country says "tennis shoes" & not "sneakers."

well, for some reason, the message body when i type something now is a big white box instead of the usual one that blends in with the rest of the forum. is it like that for u guys when u post something too?
