Noah.... Baby.... What have you done??? :O Fix your relationship with Jade!!! :'(

Noah has made a big bubu. But both of them are at fault in my opinion, Noah has changed and true what he went through was traumatic but he can't just sulk forever and act all victim complex and what not. He has to move forward or else he'll just push everyone away.
Jade on the other hand had it coming somewhat, I mean seriously he tells Noah that he's trying to sort out his feelings all over a girl and he expects Noah to understand it somehow, Noah being emotionally fragile did what was, in my opinion gutt instinct because let's face it we are all jealous to some extent and we always wanna one up the competition. I mean we don't want anyone else getting a hold of our man. Hahaha.

The confrontation in my opinion was a necessary one. I think that there will be a lot of realization and insight on both Jade and Noah but I believe that they will work it out in the end.

Besides Noah is gonna be a daddy and I see Jaden going back to Noah because they need each other for support, not just for each other but for their future son or daughter.

True, Noah can't use the victim card anymore. Too much victim complex already. I think he has realized it to some extent in chapter 40. He's realized that he's hurting others already, and it took him to hurting the one person he truly loved to realized that he should start thinking of other people's feelings aside from his own.

And I totally agree with Jade saying that Noah was being unfair. But I think that Noah will do everything he can to fight for his man. The realization of him hurting Jaden is evident of that fact.

Yeah... I don't have anything new here to add. Noah is playing the victim card but Jade really is the victim. And i don't think that any of this is Jaden's fault. Noah should give Jaden some space. they after all are no longer boyfriends.

must be scary for a kid his age to already be expecting a baby. obviously this wasnt a...conventional method, but people really need to smarten up when their teenagers. or just in general, not mature enough to have a kid

Yeah, going into a little bit more detail about her would've helped but overall the rape scene was very well thought out as far as i know.

I thought both characters behaved in a very real way. The awkwardness of the whole scene in the shop was palpable. As for who's to blame, I think it's easy to see why Noah is angry. Jaden kinda just dumped him almost out of the blue very soon after some serious trauma which I don't think Noah has properly come to terms with. At the same time, it must be hard for Jaden to suddenly have these feelings for a girl when until now he has been so certain of himself and at peace with his sexual identity. And the fact is, there's no easy answer here. Neither of them is the bad guy here, this is just two people in a really complicated place. Noah was out of line for suggesting that Jaden cheated on him with no evidence, but in such emotional circumstances its hard to say whether I would've done the same.

I think the pregnancy, though unmentioned, hangs over the whole story like a stormcloud threatening to break. I see Noah's increasing childishness and immaturity as a subconscious response to the threat of maturity imposed by fatherhood, a responsibility he probably hadn't thought about before the rape and which was forced on him in the worst possible way. Obsessing over your ex is quite normal behaviour, but it almost seems out of character for Noah to be so paranoid and jealous, until you consider the possibility that he'd much rather focus on something like this, although it might hurt and scare him, than on the consequences of his being raped.

I honestly couldn't say how this is going to pan out, and I really enjoy reading it as ever. I've read published LGBT/young adult fiction with less emotional depth and less developed characters. Why do you think I stick around even though I 'have a life' (to quote a certain Sri Lankan chap)

I've spent the past three years of my life studying English Literature & Philosophy. My mother is a psychotherapist. Analysing stuff in this way is pretty much what I decided to do with my life.
