i dont think there will be much of a problem like alex said. and besides, they were calm and stuff when they came back. too bad chris gets off the hook for fighting lmao. anyway, its cool how you've connected something very small in the previous chapter that we may have missed into this one, awesome job kelly belly!

wow kell, one of the best chapters that ive read of yours. and the name of the chapter is nothing short of amazing. like alex said, it's cool that you had put what you felt like about the situation of present gay teens in the voice of one of your characters. i never really thought that this would be the end of this story. i hope not.

sadly guys, thats the end of travis & connor . its getting too difficult for me to keep writing & i just dont think i can keep going at it

i didn't see the jk at the bottom and i was like WTF haha ..but anyway when i was reading the story i was all giddy and like being very chickish hahha idk but kell i love you so much man you always make me feel amazing when i read your works of art they brighten up my week and you should continue ALL your story's bc it does ( as small as it is ) make my life so much easier <3

i can commiserate, kell. artists (writers, painters, composers, etc.) need some alone time, solitude. this is often difficult for people to understand, especially people who work with other people all the time (offices, retail, etc.). its also difficult for friends, lovers, family, etc., because they want/need quality time too. i also think it is getting more difficult to find that time because of email, cell phones, texting, etc. its like everyone wants to be connected in one big hive web all the time. well, if one can create within that constant stream of symbolic (verbal) stimulation, fine, but most artists find it impossible. at some point you have to go into your own space, close the door, maybe put on head phones or ear buds or ear plugs or whatever and tune out the rest of the world so you can find what is in your own heart and mind that wants to speak.

Very nice chapter Kell, totally in tune with the seasons. That said, the actual content of the chapter was interesting. Coming out is very...interesting, and I can honestly say I never came out to any of my extended family, something I still sort of regret. Really well done, as per your usual.

there was gonna be a sex scene after all that but then i decided fuck it, u guys can wait lol. besides, that may be the longest chapter out of any of my stories yet so yeah

scratch that, no its not. chapter 20 was longer

I think a sex scene would have ruined the chapter a bit, would have cheapened the coming out into just a means of getting one's rocks off.

I really liked this chapter, you really captured the pressure that I'm sure every gay person feels when being grilled about why they're not bringing girls back home to visit! I think it's great, too, that your characters over all the stories experience a wide range of realistic responses to their sexuality. I know I might go on about it, but the genre of gay fiction written by, about and for young people is still developing and is strongly affected by the fact that it exists primarily in serialised form online. Among the genre, I'd say yours is definitely among the best writing I've read, and I'm not just saying that.
